David J. Gillespie

David J. Gillespie is the founder of David J. Gillespie Professional Corporation.  He attended law school at Windsor University where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws in 1979.  He was called to the bar in 1981 and opened his own law practice that same year.  David has over 37 years of experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury Law.

David has provided financial support to many organizations, including the 2001 Ajax Pickering Raiders AAA hockey team, the Oshawa Girls Hockey Association Atom BB team, the Humane Society of Durham Region, SickKids Hospital, the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada and The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

 

David is a proud member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Durham Region Law Association and the Canadian Bar Association.  He is also a proud member and past President of the Brain Injury Association of Durham Region.

 

In his spare time, David enjoys rollerblading, CrossFit, travelling, and spending time with his family and two Yorkshire Terriers.
